Fair, Flying and more Fun

Carter at the fair looking at the sheep.
We get one of these for Thanksgiving?!

The city of Glendale puts on an event called Touch A Truck each year.
Here is Carter trying out an old Army jeep.

Carter was really sad he didn't get to play with the phone in the limo-mouse-car.

Future crew chief.
This one's for you Grandpa Batty.

Backhoe, schmackhoe, I've got this down.

Peter Pan and crew ready for the Halloween party.
I do believe in fairies!
Peter loved catching his shadow over and over again.
It got old really fast, at least for the shadow.

Peter and the lost boys (and girl) enjoying their spoils.

Craig bought his queen a castle for their fifth anniversary.
Maybe by the seventh anniversary it will come with a yard.
(btw, this is a 3D puzzle)

One of these dessert options had Craig's name written all over it, so we had no choice but to get it.
See if you can guess :)

Carter at the park.
Flashback to the last time he was at this park.

Happy BOO-thday Carter

Dr. Carter with daddy as his first assist.  (FYI, Jayden was not sick, no worries)

Mommy made Mummy hotdogs for Carter's b-day.

Mommy and Daddy scored with this present.  Carter loved playing on his new racetrack.  P.S. Grammy's gift of several Hot Wheels cars was also a perfect addition.

Here is the birthday boy enjoying some well earned cake.  Happy Birthday Carter.

Spooky potion (aka homemade root beer)

Spider cakes for Carter's birthday, per his request.
While mommy and daddy were cleaning up the party, Carter busied himself making the couch "e-ful" (beautiful)
Our very own Jack o' lantern
Who knew that window clings also stick to faces.  I guess 3 year olds...and probably Grammy too.

"Please be quiet...Can't you see I'm trying to get my beauty sleep?"

Now my can't be a mountain climber!

Grammy and Grampy set up an early birthday scavenger hunt for Carter.
Out looking for clues with Grammy.
"There must be a clue here somewhere."

Carter was very excited about his "big brother" present from Aunt Laurie and Uncle Clay.

Daddy has some big shoes to fill.  Too bad they are prone to tripping.

Two babies sleeping.  Score for Mommy!
"Seriously?  Don't you have anything better to do than take pictures?"
95% of Jayden's daily activities.

Carter's new friend is a bit clingy.

Carter had fun in his closet "tent"

Hiking in Sedona

Our first family adventure with Jayden.
Too bad she slept through it.  Even when it rained.
This is the way to hike.
Carter was very distraught when we told him we couldn't climb any further (it was getting a little more dangerous and he didn't want to hold our hand).
"Now my can't be a mountain climber!"

Carter's new "bed."
It has since been converted to a giant toy box.  Carter enjoys putting every toy he can inside and then dumping it all out.

Superman vs. Giant Lobster

Daddy and Jayden enjoying General Conference.
