School's out!

Mom and Dad went on a quick trip to Arizona,
leaving the kids with Grammy.

They had a lot of fun adventures.

And brought home a few souvenirs on their elbows and knees.

Caleb visiting the trucks by Grammy's house again.
He had to pose in front of everything there.
"Cheese!"

Look at this great grate!

That's a tall fire hydrant.

Starting to be more creative in his poses.

Dancing in front of a truck always makes a good picture.

Caleb threw his glasses off in the car, and was soon irritated that he couldn't see anymore.

Practicing sitting on the potty.
He said his legs were cold so we had to put a blanket on them.

Playing with the new vacuum chamber.

"I like that boulder. That's a nice boulder."

Standing on the flower pots.

Looking pretty cool.

Cute couple.

Shadow puppets.

This one looks like Carter.
Actually, Carter was trying to make a duck.  I see it now.

On your marks...

Get Set...

And they're off.

It's gonna be a close one.

Run JJ. Run!
She's got her finish line pose nailed down.

Hangin' at the Skate Park.

Tiny grasshopper.

Caleb mimicking the dinosaurs.
Coins please.

Tried to clean up toys and was overwhelmed by the struggle. It's a rough life.

Went to a yard sale and Caleb decided to set up shop and play with all the trucks and cars.

Don't worry. He convinced us to bring a few of them home.

Hair cut time.

Looking pretty good!

"Hey Mom, we are reading!"

"Treatin!"
This is what Caleb has been saying when he wants to practice Trick-or-Treating.

Last week of school, first day without a mask!

Kindergarten Graduation.
Can you spot our graduate?

Class of 2033!

Last day with her kindergarten BFF.

Last day with her kindergarten teacher.

Kindergarten artwork.

Jayden's giraffe

Caleb still loves to play in the car.  Today he decided to try out Carter's seat.

I'm so big!

Waiting and waiting and waiting for the mail truck to arrive with their package.

Rollerblades for Jayden and knee pads/elbow pads/wrist guards for both of them.

Three in the bed and the little one said...

This little guy graduated from his crib to a big boy bed!

Sleeping soundly.

The boys built themselves an at-home trampoline park.
I hope you signed your waiver.

Caleb enjoying a "chocolate jam" sandwich. (aka, Nutella)

Caleb was very upset with Mommy after she made him take a bath.

Don't worry, he forgave her.

Having adventures on his new bed.

Caleb loves being Grumpy's little helper.

Time to do some desk work.

Easter morning we found.....Candy!!!

Jayden found her basket pretty quickly.

There's a brownie??!!

They found Carter's pretty quickly too.

Retrieving it took a little more effort.

Caleb still chowing down on chocolate.

We finally decided to take a picture of this setup at Grams' house.
She has a jellybean machine in the corner there, and if you look above it, there is a wind-chime that functions as a grown-up alarm.
No sneaking jellybeans if you are over four feet tall.

Caleb decided to give his big boy bed a break for a night.

These boys have been working on digging a hole in a nearby lot.

Caleb said he'd help Carter dig his hole if Carter taught him to read.

Carter and Mom found this really cool spot in Minecraft.
It was a great afternoon spent cannon-balling, waterfall riding, and cave exploring.

The kids told Mom one morning they had a surprise for her.
"Surprise! We moved all the furniture!"

This cute kid.

Just brothers hanging out.

Caleb needed a friend to keep him company in his bed.

The kids decided to use a magnifying glass to burn this piece of  foam board.
To their delight, it actually caught fire.
Mom had to teach them about stamping out fires.

Having fun at the park.

Carter was super proud when he figured out this cube puzzle.

What a good sharer.  Giving tiger a turn to have the bed to himself.

The cake says it all.

Caleb beat dad to the candles.

These kids love their daddy.

Time to give Carter's bed a try.

Caleb gets his first taste of an escalator .

He loved it!

Carter learned a lesson to be careful what you touch when you are out and about.
The escalator railings could use some cleaning, as well as Carter's hands now.

Practicing his piloting skills.

Carter's house.

Jayden's house.
Hmmm....looks a lot like Carter's house.

We should have put him to work fixing our engine.

Crazy climbers.

Roar! I'm a dwarf

Oh wait, I get it!  It's a lion!  Roar!

Motorcycle rides with Grumpy.

Daddy watched from the safety of the car.

Caleb loves even just watching motorcycles.

Tiger likes Carter's bed too.

Caleb also invited one of his cars to sleep with him.

Carter in heaven at this cool skate park/trampoline park.

Some quiet reading time at the library.

"Mommy, pet the pig!"
(yes, that's ham)

Caleb knows how to enjoy an ice cream cone.

Looking cool dude.

All these Legos, and he really just plays with the Lego vehicles.

So we had a milk jug leak, so we had to find some other containers to store it in.
Caleb suddenly was asking for milk all the time.
"This milk soda good!"

Caleb likes hiking.

And honking Daddy's nose.

And having a nap on dad's hat.

By the way, if you've wondered where Carter has been during Caleb's bed adventures.....
Jayden has been very hospitable.
