Falling behind

Co-op Egg drop activity.
They were excited to see if their projects worked!

Carter was even more excited when it did!

Caleb's kindergarten poster.

We went to a cool outdoor concert that ended with fireworks!

The kids are still enjoying making food from other countries.
Here is some Canadian poutine.

And a nanaimo bars! They were delicious!

All this food inspired some food artwork.

Jumping back to Australia, they decided to give fairy bread a go.
They decided it was fine.

Humitas from Chile

And some pebre to go with it.

We dragged these kids kicking and screaming up a mountain on a Sunday afternoon.
They ended up having a blast!

The boys especially loved attacking this dead log.

Your plan ended up being great, Dad!

Some days, after a fun day at kindergarten, you just feel like crying.
Even if it is World Smile Day.

But a good friend can always cheer you up.

Carter loved his birthday cake.

It's a piano!

Happy 13th birthday kid!

Carter wrote a song and got to perform it at a talent show for YM/YW.

He was so proud of himself.

He also helped out with another group's song.

Family cabin trip.
Jayden looks like she has some trouble planned.

Posing with the cabin's wood stove.

Toasty warm!

Jayden read a book to the family.

Look out Caleb!

Enjoying some fall fishing.

Relaxing together.

Telling spooky stories by candle light.
These kids made it extra creepy.

Woke up to snow!
Yay!

Blue buddies

Carter helped with a service project to round up some cows that had wandered off.

He got to ride a horse.

A real cowboy.

The boys playing computer together.

The younger two watching videos together.

Time to visit Grammy's house!

Grammy always takes us to fun places.

These kids are scary.

Peep!

Learning the farm life.

These rides don't go very fast.

Much faster.
Grammy and mom lost Caleb for a minute.
They searched all the horses as they went around and couldn't see him.
Then they finally noticed him huddled up on the sleigh.

I come in peace.

We love visiting Grams!
She always shares yummy treats!

Even with the grown ups!
Thanks Grams!

Got front row seats to see the Utah Symphony's Halloween concert.
The lighting really made for some weird pictures.

From this angle it's a little better.
The concert was great!

Happy Halloween!
Caleb was bugged when Dad told him he couldn't trick-or-treat if he didn't dress in a costume.

First big tooth starting to grow in!
Following tradition of coming in behind the baby teeth.

Jayden wanted some practice curling hair.
Carter is a nice big brother.

We went to an art gallery for school.
This was one of Carter's favorites.

And he thought this one was hilarious!

And Jayden like any piece that included horses.

She liked a few others too.

Carter really thought this piano was awesome!

Time for Grammy time!!!

Grammy is the best!

Carter needs a little more body weight to help him pump up his tires.

This boy is getting good at reading!

Yeah, I'm just cool like that.

When Mom says she'll pay you all $20 if you can push a boulder into the stream,
you get to work!!

They gave it a valiant effort, but nature prevailed.

Learning about ice cream sandwiches in Singapore.
They use actual bread!  We were skeptical at first.
But it was delicious!!

The barb wire here is very good a camouflage.
Caleb found it with his leg.

Good thing Daddy was there to carry him home.

Finally getting rid of this carseat.
It's been a good 12 years.

Craig invited us to go on a turkey trot with him and someone said yes!!

Daddy's little running buddy.

Happy Thanksgiving!
