Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Prepping for Christmas

Getting the tummy ready to handle more candy
Jayden decided she needed a rest after so much Christmas shopping.
Or maybe she is trying to stop anyone else from buying this toy.
Trimming the Tree
Jayden decided there wasn't enough snow in Hurricane.
There's that "make it happen" attitude.
Writing a thorough letter to Santa.
Enjoying the lights at temple square.
That small, green, boy-shaped one is our contribution.
"I can't move my arms!"
Aunt Roger and her favorite nephew.
Celene's Christmas cider.
:)
(Okay, it wasn't cider. This was Celene's "magical" remedy to help Craig get his voice back before his interviews.)
Early Christmas present from one of the residencies we applied to.

Christmas

It's Christmas!!!!
It's Spider Man, It's a puppy----It's Spider Puppy!
Jayden finally has her own Legos. :)
Candy!!! Just what I've always wanted!

The smiley version (somewhat)
We haven't decided what this face means yet

Fun with Family

These kids sure have enjoyed having their daddy back.
Jayden learning how to play the Wii
Going solo
"I win!!!"
Partying on brother's bed with his toys.
She's got this Little Sister thing down.
Maybe though, she just likes stealing. This is her cousin's seat, blanket and binky
Testing the bow to see if Craig did it right ;)
Careful she bites!
Jayden and Daddy practicing fishing.
Carter is starting to look so big.
Hello operator, I don't think this phone is working right.
Bugles on the fingers. Almost as exciting as olives.
When working out with Carter, pushups become difficult.
Showing off his spidey-muscles.
Kisses from Tuesday
Playing in the great outdoors. We so need to get these kids a backyard.
Test firing the mighty bow. Not bad for four months of manual labor.
The mighty archer and her weapon of choice
"I still can't move my arms, and why is Carter glowing."
Ice to see you. Ba dum bum
"Adrian!!!"
"Ooohh."
"Hello, My name is Carter. You killed my snowman. Prepare to die."
"I will kill you with my snowman."
(did you read that sentence like Inigo Montoya, if not try again)
"Faster!!!"
Jayden's first sledding. She loved it.
Carter was unstoppable on the hill.  He went down every way he could think of. (See below)
Making another snowman.
Making dad make it taller.
And again, another snowman.
See, every way he could think of.
Free snow cones.
"Can we get one?"

Home

Carter helping daddy exercise.

We finally trimmed her bangs.

New years eve popcorn.

Daddy took Mommy on a date. He even took her somewhere with flowers (Chick Fil A) :)

Jayden was inconsolable while shopping until she was allowed to hold the bag of marshmallows. She held it through the store, on the drive, and then for 15 minutes after arriving home before she would finally let them go without crying. She never tried to eat them, she simply wanted to hold them.

This is how we dress our kids on a budget.

"Who me?"
Our little monkey has figured out the monkey bars.
He was very proud of himself, and so were we!
Away from the snow. This is how winter should be!
All is well until...
"She ruined my pile again!"
Carter in time out, Jayden decided to go join him. :)
Happy New Year!!!!

Fun at home

This little girl just discovered olives!
Carter's fort.....or maybe self made prison.
After struggling with a spoon, sometimes it's just nice to sit back and have a cracker.
Our little Cinderella loves cleaning.
Too bad she likes to use every clean towel in the house.
You missed a spot!
"Brothers!  Here, let me clean up this mess for you."
Sweet baby cuddling a baby
Cool whip for dinner! Hooray!
We love markers!
(If you look close, you can see the little one has been licking them)
"It's fine Elmo.  The markers were delicious.  I'm sure this crayon is good too."
What could be more fun than dumping sand on your head?
Carter is getting to be quite the master builder
Jayden and Daddy thought Carter was napping too long so they came to wake him up.
