Christmas

Wrapping presents.  Notice the masking tape.  We forgot that we needed scotch tape.

"And now we open them...right?"

"I don't think so Tim."

Express Christmas
(Surprise trip to Hurricane Christmas Eve Night)
Christmas Eve dinner at the Burger King Playplace.  Notice that we are not eating burgers.  We did buy one  so we felt justified using their dining room.

We attempted to take a pit stop at the Walmart in Las Vegas, but it had just closed.  Instead we wandered around the parking lot and tried to keep Carter away from the garbage.

70% off!  That means more presents!

Christmas morning.  This is how Carter opens gifts.

You think it's fun now?  Wait til you get it out of the box.

Carter was a good helper at putting together his Christmas toys.

Eggnog and Sprite! Yummy!

"Presents!"

"Let me get that for you daddy."

"Mine...All mine!"

Little House on the Prairie...this was not supposed to be a Christmas gift, but dad bought it with gift cards to justify buying it! :)

 Moving Day-Not for us!
Playing Tetris...I mean packing the truck.  (notice the smile and the general lack of sweat.  December is much better than July for moving)

Carter and his friend Jamie were locked in a room with some toys during the move.  They seemed to have fun.

Carter and his buddy Scout!

"Where's Elmo?"
Carter has already decided what he wants next Christmas.

Dad finally let me drive.

This is how Carter plays with his new toys.  Guess we'll leave them in the box for now!

Christmas Prep 101--by Carter

Playing at the Park

Alicia:  "My hands are dirty."
Carter: "Dirt!!"
(Mom: Actually it's wood chips)
Carter: "My turn!"
Alicia: "When pigs fly. Ha ha ha!"
This looks fast.  I like it!

Childrens Museum

"The other end has fire.  This end should be safe."

Carter loved pushing this around

Carter loves grocery shopping but mom and dad usually steer for him.

"Mom, can you give me a hand.  wah wah wah :)
Carter loved the ball room.  Here he is watching the ball roll down the track.

Carter likes this squishy floor.

This gives a whole new meaning to "Lead foot."
Vrooom!
The day before the museum had brought in some snow for a snow day.  There was still a little left.  However,  the moment Carter set foot on it he slipped and fell on his face.  He's not a big fan.
Sand table

Getting Ready for Christmas!

"Does Santa get reception in the North Pole?

New favorite song.  (His favorite verse is stomp your feet)

Watching Charlie Brown

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!

I want this....

And this.....

Oh, don't forget this too.....

This would be fun.....

You have to get me this......
I cannot live without this.....
Let's just make this easy.  Everything three feet off the ground and lower is what I want.

Dad:  "How about this?"
Carter: "I don't want that."

Scary Santa and Christmas Lights

"This guy is coming to my house?!"

Getting ready to cook with Dad
Half ready for Church....All ready to Rock!
Scripture study:
"And not a hair of their head shall be lost."
Carter:  "Did you hear that Dad?"
Super baby!  (Don't tell him Dad's helping).
What can we say besides "Cute!"
Dirt!
Mom:  "I just gave you a bath!"

Glendale Glitters

First time wearing mittens (probably not cold enough to be necessary, but so cute!).  He had a hard time picking up his sippy cup at first.
The nice thing about mittens is Carter can't pull Daddy's hair.
(Mom:  What hair?  Bwahahaha!)
O Christmas Tree
Carter dancing to the band

Peek-a-boo!
Even though we weren't cold, we still had to have hot chocolate.
