Hide and Seek

Carter loves oranges, but he hates waiting for Mommy to peel them. This is his solution.
It didn't work for oranges, maybe it will work for potatoes....nope, no good. Okay Mommy, you can cook it first.

Hide...
....and seek.
Bwahahah!  The perfect hiding place.....wait....I can't get out.  Help!!!!!

Enough games.  It's time to Read!

"Get those Zombies Dad!"

Big Hug!

Hiking is hard work.

Watch out ladies, I'm ready to swim!
Hee hee hee!  I peed in the pool!

Spring Break 2013

This week was awesome!  Daddy didn't have school so we got to play with him all week long!  Here are a few snapshots of our fun.

Crazy hair day.  Carter went down for his nap with perfectly normal hair....he woke up with this.

Like father, like son.

Playground 1, Carter 0
Shopping
(Craig already did his exercise for the day).

Half acre backyard, and Carter finds the only puddle.

Carter found a new place to keep his milk.  Luckily we found it too.

Carter decided to reorganize the pantry for Mom.
What a good helper.
With a little coaxing we even got him to put them all back.

Sloppy Joe night!!!

Carter's getting good at eating with a spoon.

Daddy wishes his name had more letters :(

Scottsdale Train Park

Waiting to get on the Merry-Go-Round.
Waiting for the Merry-Go-Round to start.
Desperately trying to get off the Merry-Go-Round.
(Kind of hard to see in this picture, but he's clinging to Craig).

"I can see clearly now the train is gone...or at least has a hole in it."

Riding the Train

Arizona Museum of Natural History

Dinosaur!
Doing a puzzle with Mommy

Craig trying to pay for Med School.
(if you can't tell, he's panning for gold.  Good Luck!).

Our young paleontologist.
This part of the museum lets kids dust for fossils.

Woolly Mammoth--when Craig doesn't shave for a week.

Golfing with Uncle Danny

Swing batter batter, Swing!
Craig learning an essential skill for all doctors.
No more, these are mine!

Broken Hearts and Used Tissues

What a heartbreaker.
(Carter taking a few swings at a pinata at a Valentine's party).

This is almost as good as Halloween!

Carter learning to blow his nose.

Carter likes watching Curious George with his Monkey.
Best friends!

Somebody's following me.

I can't seem to get this monkey off my back!

Carter loves watching the birds out our window.  This is a daily occurrence.
This is what happens when there is no glass.
Shopping!

More pinata action.  The pinata had actually already been broken at this point, but Carter decided to make sure the job was done thoroughly.  He grabbed a toy rake and took action.
This was much harder than it looks!

This about gave Mom a myocardial infarction when she first saw it.

Little Drummer Boy

This week we spent some Christmas money we had and got a fun gift...Band Hero, complete with Drums, Guitar, and microphone.  Mom and dad aren't very good on the drums, but Carter was willing to give us a few lessons...free of charge.

Watch out uncle Jess.  Carter's coming!

Jamming with dad's mp3 player.

Oh No!

Helping mom with laundry.

Carter loves Elmo.  Every time he sees Elmo he runs over the TV, points, and tries to say "Elmo."  He hasn't quite  figured out how to say it yet, but he sure tries.

Title (this is seriously the best title we could think of)

Guitar Hero!  Carter has finally figured out that you need to hold the guitar to play it.  He is still working on his technique.  "Where did the buttons go?"  (He does have a good rock star face though!)

Mommy and Carter built a fort this week.  Carter had a good time with it, but it took him a while to figure out  how it worked.  He had more fun walking on top of the sheets.

King of the castle...and he knows it.

Found you mommy!  Carter and mommy were playing tag in the fort.

Taco Night!  I'm stuffed....and all messy

Going swimming in the leaves.  Carter found a huge pile of leaves this week and decided to dive right in.

Trip to the zoo.   All of the animals wanted to pose, except for Carter.
Okay this is actually at Cabela's (the coolest sporting goods store on the planet).  We took Carter to see the animals.  He was quite fascinated with them.

A trip to the Grand Canyon...okay this is still Cabela's.

Driving to school with Arthur.
"I really underestimated the creepiness."

Carter and mommy came to visit daddy at school.  Carter was not interested in daddy.  He decided to go play basketball instead.

Carter observing the game of volleyball.  About 2 seconds later he decided he'd seen enough and was ready to play.  Daddy vetoed the idea.
