Wrapping up

Yeah, we are a little behind.  We know.
We were hoping to get this batch of pictures posted before the move, but we ran out of time.
This post will be followed by cruise/graduation/move pictures later this week (hopefully).

Girls Night!
Jayden and Mommy having fun while the boys were at Fathers and Sons.
These girls love their ice cream!

And it came to pass......
.............that I passed out.
............and so did the eldest.
Homework with Daddy

Our new friend.  We call him Stanley.
(Jayden is a little unsure of him).

Jayden wins the flexibility contest
And the style contest.
(She found this bra and walked around the store with it on her head saying "Roar!!")
And more style from Jayden

After 4 years, Carter has finally learned to appreciate the splash pad.
After 18 months, Jayden has not.

Helping skeleton use the potty

July 2012, night before med school starts.
May 2016, night after med school ends.

Remember her friend from the last post?
Well he moved.
Sad girl.
Collecting pinecones.
"These will look great at our new house too!"

Getting Ready to say Goodbye

One of our last visits to Midwestern.
Goodbye reflecting pool.

All the things the kids have collected.

Goodbye friends.
This was one of the last times these kiddos played together.

Goodbye swimming pool.
Last time swimming.

"That's our new house?"

Aww.  We have to put the pine cones back.

The Easter Bunny hiding pine cones for the next kids to discover.

Can we get a puppy?

Trying to chase out another round of neighbors.
We noticed Carter was abnormally quiet in his bedroom one afternoon.  When we went to check on him, he was asleep in his closet on top of his toys.  He plays hard.
Carter's stew.
All natural.
Free samples anybody?
Enjoying a Sunday walk......or sit.
"I didn't do it!"
We have traded our daily play in the sand, to a daily run in the sprinklers.
Super-baby in pig tails.

Jayden playing with a clay elephant Mommy made for her.
Elephants say "pbbbbbtttttttt!"

Jayden's best friend.  We visit him every day and blow him kisses when we say good bye.

Carter has a new best friend too.  This puppy absolutely LOVED Carter.  It wouldn't pay any attention to anyone else.
It was the first time Mommy and Daddy were tempted :)

Blast these straps!!

"Tzzzzz!"
(aka, Cheese)

This is what Jayden did today instead of going to church.
She's feeling better now though.

A few weeks away

Checking out their newly filled Easter buckets.
Jayden, Age 18 months
Carter, Age 18 months
"I'm pretty sure these are mine, Daddy."
Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.  Even in Sin City
Waiting with Daddy for the "Magical Dancing Lake."
He was pretty impressed
Jayden was less impressed
"Ok, maybe I'm a little impressed."
We bought our first driveway!  It came with a free house.

"I don't know who did that.  I'm just as surprised as you are!"

Carter stands his ground against the mighty bear.....

And then we have Jayden.

Photographer in the making.

"Daddy forgot my jacket.  Luckily Grandma shared hers."

Carter wanted to look extra macho shooting the bow so he took his shirt off.
(Actually he was pretending to be the Hulk :)

Aiming for the big hole.  Missed.
Two arrows in the same hole.  It was a big hole.

"Can we keep him?"
"It's so FLUFFY!!!!"

Mommy and Carter saving Daddy and Jayden.

We climbed the mountain!!

ICE CREAM!!!!
Putting the kids to work making Daddy's icecream.

Enjoying the fruits of our labors.

"For me?  You shouldn't have!"

"Grammy, can't you go any faster?"

More manual labor for the kiddos.

This kid loves to climb

Samwise tending to the garden.

Jayden loves her woof woof.
And dirt.

"Can't catch me!"

Yet again, putting the children to work.

So pretty.
