Fabulous February

Carter's homemade robot costume.

Pruning the cherry tree, round 1.

Best pals.

Grumpy, we found a much more fun way to clean the floors.

We love Robinson Family Fun Nights!

Craig's liking his early birthday present!

Carter too!

And Grumpy is addicted to his new iphone.
Welcome to the smart phone world Dad.

Texas Trip

"Whoa, we are going in that?"

Stick to your ticket

Getting ready to take off!!

Jayden did great on the flight.  After we landed, we had to wait on the tarmac for a while for our gate to clear out.
She fell asleep about 5 minutes before we started getting off the plane and was not a happy camper when we had to wake her up and make her walk off the plan carrying her bag.

These geese were waiting to welcome us when we got to our hotel.  Craig made the mistake of throwing his last piece of bagel for them to go fetch so we could get past them.  They grabbed the bite and then barreled right for us, looking for more (which we didn't have).  We made it safely inside the hotel before they got us.  After we checked in, we went back out to grab our bags.  There were those two geese standing right in front of our trunk.  The kids and mom stayed a safe distance back and sent dad to go shoo the birds away.  They stood their ground fiercely.   So Craig gave them a wide berth and made his way to the driver's door.  He then proceeded to slowly back up to try to force the geese away.  They reluctantly complied but not without biting at the tires of the car.
Admitting defeat, the two birds watched as we brought our luggage safely inside the hotel.

Goodie bags!!

Spoiled kids each got their own bed.
(mom and dad were too :)

In the morning, we had trouble finding Carter.
Can you find him?

Braving the suspension bridge.

Visiting some of our best friends!
Best part of the trip!

We need to work on our form.

Seriously.

But our game face is fierce. (mostly)

Quick nap at hole 21.

What a helper.

Carter doesn't even come to his mom when he's hurt.
He just makes his own band aid out of duct tape.

I'm so glad when daddy comes home.

Working hard to make......something.

Enjoying the library.

And now, a poem from Craig
"Roses are red, this table is brown...................
I don't know"
This has been a poem from Craig.

Just January

Pizza and Spy Kids 3D with Carter.
A perfect afternoon for him.

Enjoying some Grammy time in the sun.

Queen Jayden

They are coming

Ready to rock and roll

Me too!

Planting a tree in the snow

Blubber experiment.
Hey, it's not even cold at all!

Poor sick girl.
Luckily Daniel Tiger prepared her for this.
"When you're sick, rest is best, rest is best." (She sang that all day)

Even when she's sick she's a good helper.

Boo!

The wand chooses the wizard at Olivanders.

Hiking in January?
What is this, Arizona???

Time for a water break.

They aren't out playing in the snow.  They are out eating it.

Carter's owl balloon from July finally popped.

Jayden's had only made it until August.
Both kids were equally devastated.
"My balloony!!"

Tickling the keys with Daddy.

Christmas time is here

We just cleaned up all the fort stuff.
Time to start another fort.

"Dad, did you get our tree from the middle of this tree?"

Jayden reading with her bestie.

Heh heh heh heh heh.

What a good big brother.

"I've been really good!"

We told them to put on their jammies.
Then they saw the snow.

Jayden taking good care of this tree.

Lovin' Daddy time.

Lovin' Grandma time.

Driving in a winter wonderland isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Carter left this note on the sidewalk for his friends across the street from Grandma's house.
"Dear Santa, I want to have a microscope and a walkie-talkie, so I don't really know what I want."

Christmas morning (for us)

Jayden got the truck she asked Santa for.

Yay for dresses!
Thanks Santa!

Take that Santa! Mom and Dad one-upped you!

Groovy

The Christmas story if Mary and Joseph had lived in Canada.

What??!!  Santa came again!

The #1 and #2 gift of the season.

More fort stuff!!!!

What did they put in that eggnog!

And now, a word from Craig.

"Silence"
Merry Christmas Mom and Dad
