Magical March

Mighty men moving massive mounds.

Having fun with the tail end of snowing season

Jayden is about to get taken out!

Two cuties in the snow.

Jayden prefers running down the hill.

Until this...

"I don't like hills!"

Carter's kindergarten class was learning about seeds and plants.
I think he missed the concept.
Thanks cousins for taking Flat Stanley on an adventure for us!

Carter finally reached his goal of counting to 1,000!

Daddy reached his goal of not electrocuting himself.

Carter was promised a big ice cream sundae with whatever toppings he wanted if he made it to 1,000.
The rest of the family got to enjoy his spoils too :)

Now that was a sundae!!!

Dad's reward for not electrocuting himself was to patch holes in the drywall.

It's hailing!
Carter is getting to be a big help with puzzles.

What does "slow" mean?

Wahoo!
This one's for you Grandpa!

Studying to become a Disney princess.

Shopping in the snow.

Jayden is devastated that she won Guess Who.
(She asked mommy if hers was a fish.  Mommy said yes so Jayden closed every door that wasn't a fish.  When only the fish was left, she cried and cried that it wasn't the dolphin she had picked)

Have you been living under a rock?

Practicing her fishy face.

Doing science.
(that's the window on the wall)

Making things out of clay at the Wallace and Gromit party.

Carter's solar system.

Penguin hors d'oeuvres

"Come with me in the scary tunnel Daddy"

Daddy crawling through a dark tunnel with his baby.

"We did it Daddy!"

Waiting impatiently for the Easter egg hunt to start.

Got one!

There's one!

And now, a word from Craig Jayden.
Wake Up!!!
This has been a word from Craig Jayden.

Fabulous February

Carter's homemade robot costume.

Pruning the cherry tree, round 1.

Best pals.

Grumpy, we found a much more fun way to clean the floors.

We love Robinson Family Fun Nights!

Craig's liking his early birthday present!

Carter too!

And Grumpy is addicted to his new iphone.
Welcome to the smart phone world Dad.

Texas Trip

"Whoa, we are going in that?"

Stick to your ticket

Getting ready to take off!!

Jayden did great on the flight.  After we landed, we had to wait on the tarmac for a while for our gate to clear out.
She fell asleep about 5 minutes before we started getting off the plane and was not a happy camper when we had to wake her up and make her walk off the plan carrying her bag.

These geese were waiting to welcome us when we got to our hotel.  Craig made the mistake of throwing his last piece of bagel for them to go fetch so we could get past them.  They grabbed the bite and then barreled right for us, looking for more (which we didn't have).  We made it safely inside the hotel before they got us.  After we checked in, we went back out to grab our bags.  There were those two geese standing right in front of our trunk.  The kids and mom stayed a safe distance back and sent dad to go shoo the birds away.  They stood their ground fiercely.   So Craig gave them a wide berth and made his way to the driver's door.  He then proceeded to slowly back up to try to force the geese away.  They reluctantly complied but not without biting at the tires of the car.
Admitting defeat, the two birds watched as we brought our luggage safely inside the hotel.

Goodie bags!!

Spoiled kids each got their own bed.
(mom and dad were too :)

In the morning, we had trouble finding Carter.
Can you find him?

Braving the suspension bridge.

Visiting some of our best friends!
Best part of the trip!

We need to work on our form.

Seriously.

But our game face is fierce. (mostly)

Quick nap at hole 21.

What a helper.

Carter doesn't even come to his mom when he's hurt.
He just makes his own band aid out of duct tape.

I'm so glad when daddy comes home.

Working hard to make......something.

Enjoying the library.

And now, a poem from Craig
"Roses are red, this table is brown...................
I don't know"
This has been a poem from Craig.

Just January

Pizza and Spy Kids 3D with Carter.
A perfect afternoon for him.

Enjoying some Grammy time in the sun.

Queen Jayden

They are coming

Ready to rock and roll

Me too!

Planting a tree in the snow

Blubber experiment.
Hey, it's not even cold at all!

Poor sick girl.
Luckily Daniel Tiger prepared her for this.
"When you're sick, rest is best, rest is best." (She sang that all day)

Even when she's sick she's a good helper.

Boo!

The wand chooses the wizard at Olivanders.

Hiking in January?
What is this, Arizona???

Time for a water break.

They aren't out playing in the snow.  They are out eating it.

Carter's owl balloon from July finally popped.

Jayden's had only made it until August.
Both kids were equally devastated.
"My balloony!!"

Tickling the keys with Daddy.
